Although, this is a costly investment up front you will
reap the benefits in your energy bill. Geo-Thermal Systems
use the heat that is found deep within the earth to heat
and cool your home. If you go down deep enough the earth’s
temperature is a constant 50 degrees or so which makes it
easy to heat and cool. The system transfers heat from the
earth into your home and does the opposite during the summer
to cool your home. A heat pump is used to provide clean,
quite heating and cooling. The heat pump works like a conventional
one by using high-pressure refrigerant to capture and move
the heat between indoors and out. Geo-Thermal Systems transfers
the heat through long loops of liquid filled pip3es buried
deep in the ground that run into your home.
Installing a Programmable Thermostat can save up to 10%
on your homes heating and cooling bills. The thermostat
allows you to set a lower temperature when you are not at
home, and there is your savings! A fairly inexpensive option.
An outdoor reset control is also a fairly inexpensive
way to conserve energy. The reset control automatically
regulates the boiler water temperature according to the
outdoor temperature. It’s that simple.
The heat recovery ventilator uses two separate blowers
to move incoming fresh and outgoing stale air. The heat-exchange
core transfers heat to fresh air without mixing the air
streams.
